We are Chris and Hannah. We opened the Cycle Service in Edinburgh in 2014. Our aim is to help keep your bike running smoothly and safely, no matter who you are or what kind of bike you ride. We keep a very large range of spare parts in stock to repair everything from the vintage to modern, the swanky to everyday bikes. We have an online booking system and do our best to turn repairs around the same day so you don't have to be without your bike too long

We can replace brake pads, tape bars, fit headsets, tune gears, run diagnostics on Bosch, Steps, and TQ ebikes (this list is constantly growing, please call to check), service cargo bikes, Rohloffs, build custom wheels.... check the booking page for full details or give us a call on 0131 662 9243.

We can service and repair pretty much all bicycles and parts with a few exceptions:
Suspension fork/shock servicing - We don't service these in-house as it needs a separate workspace and specific tooling. We'd suggest heading over to Pedals in Bruntsfield or sending off to TF tuned. We're happy to remove components from the bike to allow you to do this.

Frame building/repair and repainting - For frame building we'd suggest Andy at Eastside Bikes, he also does some repairs and repainting if time allows. Hendersons metal cleaning does a good basic job on repaints and stuck components.

Ebikes over 250W/home converted/self imported -  We generally don't work on Ebikes over 250w as they're not road legal. Home conversions and self imports can be very unsafe and we won't work on them if doing so puts us, or anyone else at risk.
